    Company History

    December 1984 Cosmo Science Limited established at Tobio, Atsugi-city, Kanagawa-pref.
    January 1985 received order for the design and assembly of vacuum apparatus from ULVAC Japan, Ltd..
    Began business as a subcontractor at ULVAC Japan,Ltd..
    January 1988 moved the headquarters to Morinosato,Atsugi-city, Kanagawa-pref.
    March 1991 Capital increased to \10million
    December 1991 The company name is changed to Cosmo Science Inc..
    August 1996 Shonan factory is established in Kanagawa Prefecture Chigasaki City hagizono 2761-4.
    April 2000 The Toda factory is established in Kanagawa Prefecture Atsugi city Toda 2387-7.
    March 2001 The Fujisawa factory is established in Kanagawa Prefecture Fujisawa city Endo 2023-7.
    April 2002 The Toda factory is integrated into the Fujisawa factory.
    September 2003 The Hiratsuka factory is established in Kanagawa Prefecture Hiratsuka City Shinomiya 7-3-10.
    The headquarters, the Fujisawa factory, and the Shonan factory are integrated into the Hiratsuka factory.
    July 2006 The construction of the super clean room is started at the Hiratsuka factory, and it was completed in November.

    1. Vacuum apparatus design and production
      Design and production for the vacuum units such as evaporation deposition equipments for semiconductor, various industries, sputtering equipment and CVD devices.
      We will completely support our customer's requirements including the installation of the units,start-up and the maintenance.
    2. Vacuum apparatus consignment manufacturing
      The consignment manufacturing of the vacuum apparatus for manufacturing the semiconductor and liquid crystal as a cooperation company of ULVAC.
    3. Vacuum apparatus relocation construction
      We will satisfy the customer requirements such as vacuum apparatus relocation due to the layout change, etc.
    4. Vacuum chamber and the piping production
      The chamber for various vacuum units is produced. Moreover, the gas piping and the vacuum line are produced.
    5. The piping design and construction for the vacuum apparatus side
      The piping design and construction between the vacuum apparatus and the factory utility is our business opportunity.
